At our facility in Berea, KY, we are expanding operations and looking for a Quality Engineer. The Berea facility performs value-add operations as a Tier 1 supplier in the automotive industry. Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Facilitate root cause analysis using problem solving tools to address customer concerns
Support internal and external customers. Able to present Root Cause Analysis to customers in a timely manner
Reduce internal scrap through continuous improvement initiatives
Work on Control Plans, PFMEA, Flow Charts, Work instructions and Root Cause Analysis

Job Requirements Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
2 years of professional (automotive or related industry) experience, automotive glass manufacturing experience preferred
Working knowledge of IATF 16949 quality systems required
General understanding of the automotive process and Tier I or OEM engineering experience
The ability to facilitate problem solving in a cross-functional troubleshooting team environment
APQP experience preferred
Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma concepts preferred
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, ability to communicate with all levels of personnel and customers
Ability to multitask, high sense of urgency
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) for interactions with management, peers, vendors and customers
Ability to trouble-shoot, analyze and resolve problems, plan, organize and share information
Ability to work independently and manage projects to established timelines as performance is measured against project goals and specific assignments
